Welcome to the Port Huron USBC Bowling Association's Website. This is where you can find information for men, women, and youth bowling. This association has been around since 1932 with records dating back to 1948. We are sanctioned with the United States Bowling Congress.

What does the PHBA do?
Checks and certifies all bowling lanes
Processes all league sanction applications to the United States Bowling Congress
Promotes and conducts association tournaments
Distributes league supplies to all league secretaries
Maintains individual records of all members
Interprets rules and guidance to assist members and leagues in settling problems
Conducts hearings relative to infraction of USBC and city association rules
Assists with the Port Huron Area Youth Bowling Association program
Publishes annual yearbook showing averages of USBC sanctioned bowlers for winter season leagues
Processes all USBC chevron awards and distributes to the league secretary
Processes all honor score award applications to the USBC and presents the awards to the bowlers

* Ken Tyson shot his 1st 300 game at Strikers Entertainment Center in Richmond bowling in the Tuesday Night Classic. Tyson finished with a 737 series.
* Lillie Ashman led the women for high series with a 603 at Strikers Entertainment Center in the Wednesday Night Women's League. Ashman also had a 226 game.
* Amanda Long had high game for the women with a 235 at Port Huron Lanes in the Inter City Ladies League.
* There will be some scanned history documents in the next few weeks. Look for those and have a great summer !!!!

(4/7/13) - With owner Billie Jean King on the bench cheering every shot, the New York City WTT KingPins presented by GEICO finished the inaugural Professional Bowlers Association League championship match with a string of seven consecutive strikes to defeat the Motown Muscle, 440-407, and claim the Elias Cup at Woodland Bowl.
1, NYC WTT KingPins presented by GEICO (Tommy Jones, Jack Jurek, John Szczerbinski, Scott Norton, Pete Weber, Kelly Kulick), $75,000.
2, Motown Muscle (DJ Archer, Jesse Buss, Tom Smallwood, Ronnie Russell, Mike Fagan, Mike Scroggins), $30,000.
3, Dallas Strikers (Bryon Smith, Amleto Monacelli, Rhino Page, Mike Machuga, Norm Duke, Mike Wolfe), $20,000.

*We are going to be starting up the Port Huron Bowling Hall of Fame. If you have any pictures, items, or memoribillia that you would want to see included, please mail those items to Port Huron Bowling Hall of Fame c/o Scott Wassom, 718 Carolina Avenue, Marysville, MI 48040. Also, if you have pictures or other items to send; please email sawassom@sbcglobal.net. It's a long overdue venture and a great way to honor those from the past, deceased, and even some current members. Our association dates back to 1932 and has a rich history. If you have anybody you would like to see inducted in the initial class, please email as well. Updates will be posted.
